    My favorite podcast
Sarah and Helen’s practical coaching advice helped me as I recently searched for my next internal role (more than the materials provided by my organization). I’ve gained confidence in so many aspects of work thanks to this podcast and the supporting podsheets. They are a joy to listen to!

    Game Changer Podcast!
I can’t say how much this podcast has revolutionized my thinking about my career. Quick back story-I started a new job in March 2020, 5 days into the USA’s COVID lockdown. This job move was squiggly to begin with on top of a global pandemic that changed everything! I was in uncharted waters to say the least and feeling lost. I first heard Sarah on Emma Gannon’s Ctrl Alt Delete podcast about 2 months ago and was transfixed! I have been listening to the weekly pod release and working my way up from the first episode. I have seen major progress in the way I approach my work, team members, clients and managers since becoming a squiggly careerist. I even bought the Squiggly Career book and have been reading it as well. The first 10 episodes about confidence gremlins were a game changer for me, Like I said I was feeling lost and had a big FOBFO problem. I now have the tools to “cage” my confidence gremlins and have put them to good use! My husband has even started listening and our conversations about careers and our future have really leveled up! I’ve already seen a change it how he is approaching his work, taking steps to proactively progress his career versus waiting for a position to become available. You ladies are truly doing amazing work and I look forward to reading the new book once it’s released in the states (I’ve already pre-ordered it on Amazon!). Many thanks! Cheers!

    Must listen!!!!
Sarah had an amazing conversation with Chris Voss who is incredible. He is so knowledgeable and it’s extremely interesting to learn from him. I highly encourage everyone to listen to this excellent episode.

    Super relatable, ruthlessly practical
Not your typical careers podcast. Helen and Sarah are encouraging, down-to-earth, and have extremely relevant careers advice. Definitely more “of the time” than outdated careers resources (eg. What Color is Your Parachute). Coming from a large organization, my career mentors all had conventional career trajectories and I felt like something had gone extremely wrong with mine. This podcast (and their book) has provided a lot of insight as to why this felt like the case. Most valuably for me, I have been able to identify my values and confidently turn down opportunities in favor of career options that will work for me. I wish I’d had Helen and Sarah’s advice all this time! They are also funny without trying, and I love when they share their own hits and misses. Their friendship and partnership (women supporting women) is also inspiring to see.

    Cheerful and Practical
I always appreciate the energy I leave with after listening to this podcast. The hosts are warm and welcoming. I the love the “coach yourself” questions. Advice is practical and concrete. My only complaint is the episodes are only 30 min and go too fast!
