This pod was a nice find as I started watching TWD so late after it went off air but my gawwwd did these ladies get insufferable. Watching a tv show and taking it so literally has to be exhausting. I’m surprised they lasted so long watching a show they hated. It was a fun listen until it wasn’t.

I really enjoyed this podcast and the hosts’ dynamic with each other. As the episodes go on, you can clearly hear the hosts lose their love for the show. It’s sad, and bit frustrating. Really wish I could have finished listening but it wasn’t meant to be.

My love for the Walking Dead has diminished, but my love for Two Dead Chicks never will. Consistently hilarious and insightful while keeping it real about the state of things regarding the show Edit: I’ve returned to this podcast recently and I am so grateful for it. It feels so good to laugh with these ladies.

So as a new fan of the podcast, I quickly fell in love with the humor and sincerity that these two put into each episode. Mel and Kia keep things honest but funny with their recaps and opinions, and I’m often holding back tears of laughter at work or at the gym as I listen to the podcast. My friend and I always enjoy listening to the podcast and are in the process of catching up from the beginning! Never a dull moment! Keep up the good work!

Much like the subject header, Kia & Melissa keep it real in their weekly review of The Walking Dead. I’ve been a fan of the series since day 1, and of the comics for even longer, and many podcasts tend to have bias in their opinion, especially because of sponsorship, but TDC actually discusses what’s happening, good or bad, with this tumultuous television production. I’m bummed that this is their final season, but I get it. Ladies, you’ve been great! Rick Grimes/#Richonne forever!! 💕

I love listening to your podcast while in driving because I normally end up laughing so much I forget about the traffic. I love that you seem to genuinely care about the characters and you actually know them well. You are both hilarious and focus on the ships as much as the action. You also always highlight what Michonne is doing and how awesome she is, which I find lacking in other podcasts, recaps and reviews...hmmmm. And can I just talk about Richonne? You always point out their amazing relationship. Yeah! The bittersweet is that this is your last season. Sorry to see you go. Keep us posted on what is next.

I stumbled across this podcast while at work wanting to discuss the latest episode of TWD with equally obsessed co-workers. Since then, these two ladies always say exactly what I think of the major and minor characters and and even share my adoration of Rick and Michonne who are the only reason I watch this show. They provide character analysis, episode summaries, and most importantly a community where we share a love ( and sometimes plain old hate) for the show. I’m so sad this is their last season!!!

This is the one and only TWD podcast I listen to. These ladies know this show inside and out and discuss each week’s episodes with such intelligence, love, and humor. They will completely draw you in and make you feel like you’re just hanging out with them discussing your favorite show.

Kia and Mel are the real deal fans of The Walking Dead. They are like those loving parents who give praise when it's warranted but will heat up that behind when shenanigans are afoot. I love that they are unapologetically honest in their review of the episodes calling BS when BS is wafting through the air. They are insightful are delve into aspects of the material that I never think about. Their absolute love of Richonne is completely adorable. When Kia talks about them, she gets a breathy quality to her voice and I can actually imagine hearts shooting out of her eyes like an emoji! I also appreciate their willingness to weave into the podcast commentary about the cultural issues that inevitable pop up on the show, i.e. racial dynamics, issues around sexism, etc. I'm binge listening and am almost to season 8. Hoping that I'll catch up before the season finale. Thank you for your sharp wit and the wonderful podcast that keeps us laughing and talking. Keep up the good work.

Sometimes I just need to share about my feelings about the Walking Dead. These ladies do the talking for me. Hell, sometimes I feel like Kia and Melissa are in the room talking to me. hahaha! For the most part we agree...and it's great that they ask for the listeners thoughts and feedback. Best TWD Podcast! Update! I love that the cast interviews! The podcast of S2 E10 29:05-30:40 encapsulates all that's great about these two - Kia on the play-by-play, Melissa with the color commentary. "You went to school with Maggie?" Straight hilarious. They always get straight to it too. No non-show related rambles that go on and on, just a witty, honest, analytical breakdown of the show. Check'em out.

I’ve been listening to this podcast for about a year. And during that time, aside from being completely entertained by Melissa and Kia, I’ve also enjoyed interacting with them on Twitter. We all have these crazy questions About our favorite Alexandrians and company. They always serve up a ton of laughs. It’s so good to have someone else who wonders about things that go on in the show, with the actors and with the characters. I look forward to Tuesday’s when I know a new podcast will come out. Let me start off by saying that I love podcasts. Doesn’t matter the subject matter, my interests run far and wide. Now why it never occured to me to search for podcasts about my favorite television show, I will never know. I stumbled across this podcast by reading a tweet by the ladies on twitter during one of their live tweet sessions and decided to give it a listen. And boy am I so happy I did! Though I have friends who watch the Walking dead, they're more casual watchers and don't care to talk about character arcs or recurring themes. Kia and Mel discect the epidsode and give in-depth analysis that makes you feel like you're right there with them. It's just what I've been missing. Can't wait for more!

I tend to not binge on either podcasts or tv shows. But these two chicks are deadly funny and I'm hooked. It has rapidly become one of my favorite podcasts. I have been 'binge listening' for a while now. They are objective about the show and I love hearing their views on where the show excels and where it stumbles. I've been watching the Walking Dead since season one and its been a hoot listening to them recap past seasons. Do yourselves a favor and listen to these two deadly funny chicks.

Recently discovered your Podcast because I was looking for a break from shows that get hung up on nitpicking every tiny little detail. I love listening to you two because it's like analyzing the show over coffee with friends! You are hilarious, interested in the show and opinionated but not overly negative! You've had me in tears, cracking up in public, multiple times (Swear, Kia's comment "what's with Heath's struggle wig?") OMG yes! But you also have me in sad tears because it takes so long to get out a podcast! Why are we still waiting for the mid season finale wrap up? First things first: So sorry I haven't reviewed before now! I'm generally in my car when I'm listening, so by the time I get home, the thought has left my mind. But I'm here! I've been listening since 7x01, and I am in love. These two splendid ladies are obviously true fans of The Walking Dead, which is exhibited in their knowledge of these beloved characters and their stories. But I also really love their willingness to critique the show as needed, and in a way that's often hilarious, while showing reverence to the people making it. As someone who's listened to plenty of TWD podcasts in the last few years, Kia and Mel have been such a breath of fresh air, and Two Dead Chicks has become one of the shows I most look forward to every week. You have a definite fan in me!

Definitely take a listen. These 2 gals know their stuff, and really break down each episode to its core. You can tell how much they love this show (and the folks responsible for it) in their voices. 2 thumbs up, way up.

These 2 ladies really love & understand the show! A real pleasure to listen to. No negativity, but they're not afraid to criticize when warranted.

I've listened to the other walking dead podcasts, they are full of lame people who constantly criticize everything they can about the show. They never talk positive, and they even cut on some of the actors performances. I needed something different, I couldn't stand it another moment! And then I found Two Dead Chicks! They obviously love the show like I do, they are bought in with the characters and they are sympathetic to them. Super refreshing, they have a fun sense of humor and they realize that talking about the show afterwords is cathartic to all of us TWD fans. I'm excited to listen to it every week! Keep on doing what you're doing, it's perfect!

I'm an avid TWD fan. And I often rewatch episodes. This show is a fun way to go back and experience the show if you are a vet or get great analysis if you are bingeing. Mel and Kia are funny, charming and detail-oriented! Love these ladies!
