Still great but not what it used to be
Miss Eric - he was the best. Still a great show with solid content. A little too gimmicky sometimes. Also, someone is often banging away on a keyboard which is all I can hear at times.

    Sunday pod
Y’all need to help those of us squeezed for time and recap everyone’s “before the lines move” picks at the end

    Chahrouri is awful.
Declarative statements about individual players without the X/O context being discussed concurrently on other pods routinely ruins the message for me.

    Offseason hosts
3rd year of listening. Miss Eric, he’s the GOAT. But, I also really enjoy the new format and having the new guests on with varying perspectives. They are awesome. That being said, I’d pay a monthly fee just to have someone else on other than Seth Galina, especially during these offseason pods. I really appreciate tape takes and analysis, but this is a betting pod and I get his analysis from so many other pods. Hard to see the value brought in this context. Solid dude, no hate on his skill at what he does, but I don’t think what he does fits very well here. Just a suggestion because I generally love the content. I can just keep skipping his parts if needed either way if others feel differently. Let’s print

    It’s become skippable
This was a good pod to have on, mainly for the jokes and banter, and then some deep dives into the games and spreads. Since this fall, It’s fallen flat and become skippable tbh.

    Missing Eric
Severe drop in quality without Eric. Too many inside jokes with lack of planning from the hosts. Hope it turns around with better organization soon.
  • Nossjake
    Eric is dearly missed
I listened to this pod twice a week for the past 2 years, but the exit of Eric makes this impossible. There is no rhythm or chemistry between the revolving door of guests, and it makes it painful to the listener

    My favorite podcast
Love the pod! This will be my 4th NFL season listening and I almost never miss an episode. One comment.. it seems like the Greenline model is not up until mid-week. It would be nice if users could use the model on Sun & Mon to help find early value for the upcoming weeks NFL slate. Thanks for all the great content! -Mike

    #Printing Press
As a member of the 313 area code my entire life I can honestly say The Det… I mean OUR Detroit Lions are going to win the Super Bowl this year! Lol but honestly as a lifelong fan feels like we’re finally being +EV. #RestoretheRoar #PrintingPress

    Massive bigots
The actual sports content is worth 3-4 stars but it’s hard to get past how arrogant and bigoted they are as human beings.

Comes across as snobby— worst PFF pod out there
This podcast with Eric and George comes across as a snobby podcast between 2 guys speaking like their opinions are fact. They only talk about the bets they win— and that’s only once you get past all the filler talk at the beginning of the episodes. I understand that they are the hosts of the podcast, and it’s their own pod, but this is a PFF betting podcast, and a lot of the surrounding talk doesn’t really back that up. Overall, I feel that these guys just criticize others at every moment possible, whether that’s players, fellow bettors, or other people in the industry. Their ads are obnoxious and cringeworthy too. This podcast is certainly not on my shortlist of NFL betting shows at this point.

    Not worth your time.
Eric Eager offers ZERO insight and is extremely emotional in his takes. Eric truly believes a computer program makes him the smartest person in the room and is insufferable at times. There much better options out there including other PFF Podcasts! Check out the PFF NFL Podcast with Steve and Sam, they are an amazing listen!

    Love the show!
Really appreciate the betting content here based on math rather than ~vibes~ and feelings. Keep the content coming!! Couple questions for you guys from a relatively novice bettor. There has been some W1 line movement since the NFLs initial schedule release (BAL -4.5 now out to 5.5 on DK, DET +4.5 down to 4 #restoretheroar). From what I have researched it seems like activity from sharks and “smart money” is the only thing that moves lines in June / July. So my questions are 1) Are there any W1 bets you guys are taking now with anticipation that lines will move away from you as the public bets more in August / September? And 2) If you are able to find a soft book (Caesar’s hasn’t moved a line since they opened from what I can tell) is there extra value in taking lines that have moved other places because “smart money” is driving that movement?
  • Skiman20
    Surplus Value
Love the show! One question, how did you guys come up with your numbers for surplus value for Mac Jones? I love this but have no idea where this data is coming from. And how I can access it for all players? Worth $28.4M on a cap hit of $2.83M surplus value of 10:1
  • idontcaaaaaaare
    5 stars I guess
If you can get past the general sanctimony and fast forward through the parts where they talk about anything other than betting on football, it’s a good show.
  • Memphis185
    Normally Good
I like the show, not much as Eric likes using the word “like” Like, like, like, like. There was a 9 “like” stretch in a single 90 second sound bite. Professional podcast and information, amateur production

George always good for a laugh
OK analysis bu I listen mainly to get a chuckle out of George boasting every show about how he shaves his crotch. Yeah, it's a commercial, but he's so obviously sincere and proud, often going on beyond the allotted one minute or whatever. You see, if you don't remove your pubic hair you're a dirty caveman and the chicks will somehow sense it and be repelled by you even with your clothes on. And if you get them in bed and they find out, who knows? If you're lucky they'll confine themselves to running off in horror.. Every time I hear him go on about it I start to laugh and the words "pathetic brainwashed loser" pop uncontrollably into my mind. At least he seems sincere. It was even funnier when Michael Lombardi used to do similar commercials on one his many podcasts. He sounded about as likely to use this product as Vince Lombardi would have been. Nice that unemployment is being relieved by a new billion-dollar industry shaming feebs about their bodies.

    Deshaun Watson
We all know that what Deshaun Watson was accused of is wrong. Why do you guys spend so much time trying to explain how wrong it is. I had to turn the latest episode off because you guys were dancing around the Deshaun Watson situation like some amateur ballerinas. WE UNDERSTAND IT WAS WRONG! Love the show.

    Stupid analogies George
Why does all your analogies are always about women and dating. I believe their are women that listen and finally get tired about your analogies and believe it’s sexiest Your language is horrible, Chris should have a talk with you. I thought you might improve but I will just not listen any more but I do enjoy Dr. Erick

Some good football insight, but I can’t get fired
Eric has some excellent insight on football betting, and his sidekick challenges him. But the sidekick drops Fbombs for no reason so It can’t be played at work, which is when I listen. I understand every podcast can F bomb all day. I am not saying to ban it. But I have never been in an office where you can have Fbombs “playing in the background”. So it is not for me, or the millions of people who work in an office and listen at work. Too bad.

    A great listen, every time
All of the pods are an awesome combination of interesting, informative, entertaining, and, quite often, hilarious. Truly enjoyable stuff, thanks and keep up the great work.

    Percentage of value
Absolutely love the pod the guys! I couldn’t sleep the other night and tried to assign what percent each position group had to their respective importance. I don’t have a PhD in math and I’m sure my idiotic method is beyond ignorant, but I came up with the following: QB 25% 5 skill position players 20% OL 15% DL 10% LB 5% DB 25% (assuming base in nickel) How atrocious are these numbers and do you guys have data to assign proper numbers? Or is this the stupidest idea and every situation is entirely different based on scheme, and quality of QB?

    Mailbag Question
Hey guys, love your podcast, have a quick draft question for you. How big of a blunder is it that the Dolphins took TE Hunter Long over C/G Quinn Meinerz at pick 81. I am sure that Long is a great athlete but we already have a ton of tight ends on the roster and I have serious questions about Matt Skura and Michael Dieter.

Excellent Blend of Analytics & Humor
Isn’t PFF content only for nerds? No! Eric and George do an excellent job of providing the deep, analytical perspective you can expect from PFF, while maintaining a casual and often humorous atmosphere. And take it from someone who is risk averse and rarely gambles, you can rest assure that you will receive some of the most sound NFL betting advice around. Eric, George, I consider myself a Foreca$t super fan. Can we come up with a nickname for this fan club? Foreheads? CLV CLUB? G & E Degenerates? Also when can we get a PFF Foreca$t shirt in the store? 👀

    Love the pod guys!
I have a quick request for summer programming, I think another redraft of the nfl like you guys did last year would be awesome, it would be super interesting to see the changes after just one season. Also I have a take that I want your opinion on. I think that Russ never actually wanted to be traded given how quickly the story died after free agency began, and I think that instead most of the story was fabricated to distract people from the fact that he played like a glorified jacoby brissett for the second half of 2020. Thanks guys!
  • Thebea$t
    Defensive regression for mailbag
I know that my rams aren’t going to have the best defense in the nfl again but doesn’t having 2 superstars on that side of the ball (a pass rusher and corner so most important) negate some of those concerns (barring injuries of course) and should be factored in their analysis? Thanks big fan 49ers winning 7 games.

    Great Content, Why the Politics
As with all of PFF’s content, great stuff. Like the hosts takes but they keep bringing in politics. I come to PFF for data on football, not your political opinions. I’m tired of the slant in sports/sports media, when I’m trying to just consume the content. I’ll take my listening elsewhere. PS: run a correlation of your subscriber numbers with when you talk politics and I bet it’s negative. Sincerely, a libertarian just trying to enjoy football content

    Love the pod, CHIEEEEEEEFS!!!!!!!!!!
Love the pod, question: why don’t running backs dive over the line at the goal line anymore?

    Keep your dignity
Eric and George know their craft and put on a generally solid pod. In this vacuum they get 4 stars probably. Unfortunately there’s more to a show. With so much quality content, shows are competitive for your limited time. So it never ceases to amaze when a middling show goes out of its way to denigrate a massive portion of their listening base. It’s clear from a few samplings that these two holds roughly half the country in extremely low regard. Subtle jabs, though easy enough to pick up, are a normal thing. Won’t pretend to read minds or assign motive. The direction of the digs are pretty easy to identify. Don’t help fund guys that think you’re irredeemable, low IQ “science deniers.” You deserve your dignity.

    Falling out of favor
I used to really like the pod, and this is coming from someone who majors in mathematics at a good school. I understand the margins that you guys work with in analytics, but these aren’t the massive improvements the way your tones would indicate. These margins may push the percentage points 2% in your favor, which I why I think the in-season strategies are flawed. Also, you both come off as very arrogant and douchy, and after two years of listening I have decided that it has become complete non-consumeable as a product. I appreciate the knowledge you have bestowed but did not appreciate the condescending dicks you have turn out to become.
  • Colin-22
    Chris Simms Was Awesome
Despite the heat some give Simms on his QB rankings, he’s always a great listen. Hoping you all can get him on after the draft too and discuss QB fit.

    Dumb Comments
You cats usually say something dumb on your podcast, but the media being much maligned for no reason just took it up to the stoopid level. And Eric looks like McConnell and George is smaller than Pelosi.
