    Love the show but…
I’m getting really tired of people saying “it’s like something you would do to an animal, but you’re doing it to a human” especially when it’s coming from people who have been repressed. How about we all agree that certain behaviour is unacceptable towards ANY sentient being.

    Great work!
I loved the old pod. The new version is even better. I love the much longer episodes and Mike is a great addition. Keep up the good work guys!

So happy to have Jared back, and the addition of Michael as co-host is a wonderful choice that has added a really nice sense of depth and humorous energy to the dynamic. Always happy to see the new episode drop. Keep up the great work!

    And… we’re back!
Super stoked on the reboot! Thanks for coming back to us, Jared. Rooting for you and Michael as you help the rest of us make sense of the nonsense. Let us know how to support the pod, because it didn’t come up when I searched on Patreon and your independent investigative journalism is worthy of our support. Or at least mine. Thank you!

    Harmful Ableist Rhetoric
Just heard about this pod from the Conspirituality Podcast, so I thought I’d check it out. Started with #186, and it’s the first and last time I’ll listen. Towards the end the guest verbalized some really ableist views about an Autistic person, and the host thought that was just fine and dandy, apparently, judging by the fact that it made it into the ep.

    Bye Mr Holt
Thx for all the great pods!

    The arrogance!!!
The most recent episode was reprehensible. Jared and his giggling gaggle of guests sounded immature, ignorant and disrespectful. After two years of listening to Jared Holt, I no longer believe he’s operating in good faith. What a disappointment…
  • Fname
    Informative, timely, interesting
Love your voice, timing ⏱ & always make the information interesting
  • 6Funny_Bunny9
    Middling at best
I’m a firm believer in listening to all sides of an argument and making up my own mind as to what is going on. These guys regularly give the idea that they only listen to ideas that agree with how they already think. Those who have divergent options are automatically labeled as stupid. No wonder this country is so divided when people on both sides of the isle are so unwilling to listen and only want to talk over or cancel the persons they disagree with. Grow up guys. You can do better. And using Neil Young and Jonie Mitchel as your barometer is highly problematic. They are both bigots on the left that get a pass because they are on the left.

    I’m in the twilight zone
So I just listened to the most recent episode on media going on the offensive and I swear I have heard this exact conversation in its inverse by right leaning “journalists”. Examples I’ve heard from the right is the Republicans don’t know how to wield culture, they are do nothings, I’ve heard lefties believe in everything and nothing, I’ve heard of smear campaigns and the inability of lefties to report the truth. You and your counterparts are the problem, not the American people. It’s the narratives you construct, the framing in your reports and your own prejudices the make you assign beliefs and moralities to large swaths of the public like groups are monoliths that can easily be segregated by race, religion, sexual orientation or whatever other dribble you people come up with that highlights our differences. You help the controlling white supremest patriarchal elite maintain control as much as the right, two sides of the same coin. Congratulations, you did it!!!!!!

    Unparalleled deadpan humor.
Thanks for keeping me sane, Jared. Came here after hearing you on QAA a while back. The content is good but your delivery is what makes the podcast!
  • Rocky_Mountain_Sly
    Excellent episode... again.
Great work Jared. Interesting guests, good interviewer, nice format, great production. Love the pod.
  • mitoaglass
    Wow so brave
Another left wing echo chamber. self important, smug arrogant mouthpiece for the Democratic Party, maybe you like that stuff but it’s always old and irrelevant by the time the show airs, I’m not sure why this is a show.
  • hmmmm789
    Tangential!
This pod is so interesting and well researched, a deep dive into conspiracies and the people who believe them. Jared Holt has an amazing delivery, somewhere between deadpan and incredulous. I first heard him on Doomed, which I also love. These shows are a fun break from the regular and necessary left political analysis.

All you need to know about the meme dystopia
The negatives: Only one episode a week. Mr. Holt insists on taking vacation. No matter if you hate or love the internet (or both), Sh!tpost is one of the most insightful digests of the meme-culture that dominates our society and the far-right populist politics that have unleashed a era that will be remembered as a crime.

    Excellent resource
Well researched & delivered with humor. Much needed in these tiring times.

    Highly recommend!
I love this podcast and I listen to it every week, if you’re interested in politics at all and want a different/deeper perspective I highly recommend this show. Jordan is a great host and manages to talk through insane topics with a calm demeanor. I’m very interested in the intersection between tech and politics and he does a really great job talking ab that as well. Also has great guests on. The songs he chooses to transition between stories always makes me laugh
  • Prof MJB
    Amazing!
Really well written and delivered content on the gnarly details of far-right online and offline shenanigans. The analytical thread between national politics and crypto and explicit fascism is thicc, necessary and appreciated.
  • bluecollargirl
    Love it!
    Always informative and entertaining!
  • Mike0887
    Boring now
After recent changes to the show, the podcast has become boring. Jared and Jack are good, but the interviews are the most boring part of the podcast.

    Detective Pikachu looks amazing
Jared’s Detective Pikachu analysis was beyond facile. Embarrassing. One star.

    The worst
This is a terrible podcast. Everything about what they have to say is boring, unoriginal, unintelligent.
  • Lisa cushman
    Funny and Informative
I love this podcast. It is so funny and gives me a chance to learn about some of the more bizarre aspects of alt right Internet culture. I look forward to the podcast every week.
  • Fun1551
    Sh!tpost? More like Sh!tpod.
    Don’t bother
  • DrippinginSarcasm
When hard work is too much, Jealousy will do.
Jared Holt, this creature from the estrogen lagoon, was so jealous that Alex Jones has a bigger podcast than him, that instead of putting in the hard work to make a better podcast, He got so jealous that he whined to the powers that be, and got him kicked off. Weak.
  • OwnTheLibs
    Excellent!
Very informative run down of the goofier sides of the ‘net. Keep it up, Jared!
  • Cortland68
    Awesome show
Hosts delivery can be a bit stilted at times but the information being delivered is 10/10
