I don’t often listen to highly produced podcasts…
But when I do it is 12 Sided stories. Tightly edited with foley work and music. A ton of fun, diverse cast and games covered… you want GUMSHOE, they do GUMSHOE. And Delta Green, and FATE, and Call of Cthulhu and and and… They are also a tight 30 - 45 minutes instead of the long rambling 2-4 hours of many other shows.

    Buckle up, buttercup
12-Sided Stories are brilliant, highly diverse, comes at you from left field and knocks you for the best loop in your life kind of shows. Tight editing, immersive sfx, fantastic acting and gripping storylines drive a number of great game systems to new heights. A must listen every show!

    New listener
I just hopped on board this CoC pod and was delighted at the talented group of people navigating the mythos of a 1990s grunge era Seattle. I love the rules lite approach and the quirky and unique characters each player created! Bravo!

    Phenomenal podcast.
THIS is such a fun and amazing show. From the cast interactions, the player decisions and the settings that they choose. I recommend it to anyone and everyone.

    Fun and Engaging Show!
The excellent storytelling really captured my interest, and the production value and variety of game systems have kept me listening. Great cast, perfect for fans of “story over rules” actual plays

    Well worth your time
Generally I’m not a fan of actual play podcast. I don’t have time to listen to a three or four hour show every week. OWL does it right. The production is top notch, the players all do a great job with their characters and voice acting and the story itself is very compelling. There’s just enough of the game stuff so you know it’s a game, but not so much that it detracts from the experience. I look forward to every episode and listen to it right after it drops.

    Thrilling and Exciting!
I’ve been listening to (and producing) actual play podcasts for a while now and this is one of my new favorites. The setting of 1890s London is a great change of pace from what you can normally find. The players all bring a great deal of humanity and heart to their characters, which is sorely needed in their fight against the otherworldly terrors coming for them. Wes Otis does a wonderful job of weaving the story and the sound effects and music add just the right accent on top. All in all, this podcast is very well done and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

    Theatrical gaming
This is a really well-produced actual play podcast. Great audio, solid acting/improv from the players, and enough dice rolling and rules to remind you that it’s not just an audio play. Great work!
