@raisingSilasThis show❤️The show might be something I look forward to even more than the handmaid’s tale every year since finding it. I have no one that I know that watches the handmaid’s tale. I love nothing more than getting geeking out toFacts and information about filming and lighting and the reasons why the show creates the world they do for us in one and all means or what it might mean to different people. Even when I think that I’ve seen everything and paid attention to everything, one of the gals brings up something else that I have to go back and rewatch. Listening to the Show on my way to work makes me feel like I’m in a conversation with my closest friends who I’ve never met. I also love the interviews that they do and loved listening to the recap on the testaments. Next year will be so sad to lose two amazing productions. Also Found All in the mind through this show and if you haven’t checked it out you are missing out!

EhmsoleilSo good. They're so insightful!I love Handmaids Tale so much. Listening to this feels like discussing it with my friends (who won't watch it). They make points amd insights I never thought of. Also, no vocal frye, upspeak, or liberal use of 'literally'.

Tiger.JDGreat insightsOne of my favorite tv show podcast recap and review shows. The hosts all have great attention to detail to catch how past season link to current seasons.

aword4youLove this after Handmaids episodes!Found this podcast and it’s my fave of the two or three I listened to. Can’t wait to listen after every new episode and going back to listen to the special interviews is great.

rc41839410The BestLove this podcast and it’s always a must listen after I’ve watched the latest episode.

sara31924BrilliantListening to this is like having 3 smart friends to walk me through each episode. The hosts don’t step on each other words which I appreciate. The prequel is happening here in red state America. The show hits differently this season. Thank you!

ElleHelle8th grade LitNot at all an ill-intentioned pod. Somehow is less deep than the show itself. It’s giving privileged ladies needing to take a breath after bearing witness to a light interpretation of what takes place and HAS taken place over and over again in history. I guess I was looking for something more. Y’all do you. Go in grace, as it were.

jSwagMamaHandmaids tale gem of a podcastThis podcast is the best to digest and I crack all of the events and meaning of things that happen in the amazing show. Not only is it thoughtful and well spoken, but these ladies from down under help us see outside our American perspective and really add a great point of view with conversational comedy. I have laughed and cried while listening to this podcast and wish one day we could all have muffins over a June moon

Season 4 question!!The only Handmaid’s podcast worth listening toThis is, hands down, the best Handmaid’s podcast out there. Insightful commentary and relatable emotional responses. If you liked All Flesh, this one is definitely worth a listen for cinematographic discussion. Audio mixing is also great! I love how audio from the episode plays in the background occasionally in a really relevant and seamless way.

guiguihuihiuhuoGood funJust found your podcast as I am a late to the show. I am frantically catching up on watching the show so I can listen to you all! Like Canada…I am glad you are here.
-
Cullensboy92TherapyI wish I had this when I started the show in late 2020. Late Bloomer, because I knew how violent and thought/emotional provoking this show was. I binged season 1, like they said not to do!! >.< I wish I could have known that before. 😭 This podcast is the therapy and the subdrop group that I need 🥳 I just finished the fourth season (yes I binged) and I cried ALL THE WAY through! Thank you gals for your analysis and reflection!

ApFBabyPraised BeLove and adore this podcast. Positive insightful feedback on show. Great tie backs to current events. Loving revisiting the episodes until season 5 comes out!
-
HoosierinCaliInsightful podcast but hold the snarky Trump jabsI love THT and your podcast, but please hold the snarky Trump jabs. You seem to really stretch to connect anything bad in Gilead to Trump, which makes so sense because Gilead is, in fact, fictitious and has NOTHING to do with Trump. You even speculate that Serena must be a Trump voter (because she’s so awful). Please do not use this forum to demonize Trump.

Zac2597Binge worthy! This podcast is outstanding- you manage to tease out the nuances with keen attention to detail and an honest sensitivity. It’s immensely increased my appreciation of the series. I’ve literally binge listened to your episodes along with binge watching the series and rewatching episodes. Also there’s so much warmth and humor it feels like digging deep into the show with friends! Thank you ladies- we are all looking forward to Season 5 🇹🇹

California HillsThank you!Thank you so much for your Handmaid’s recaps. I love your discussions, and your perspective about America. Greetings from California. Let’s hope for more Nick and June next season.

LauraRoslin47New (huge!) fanI am loving this podcast! The conversations amongst the hosts help me interpret and more deeply understand/appreciate Handmaid’s Tale episodes. I also love that they LOVE Handmaid’s Tale. Recappers and reviewers don’t often approach their content with both a critical lens AND a joyful enthusiasm for the material. Finding both here has been fun. Also: such strong bonus content! My experience of Season 4 was richer for having listened to the podcast. Thank you!

The girl upstairsLove this podcastThis pod had made me appreciate handmaids so much more. Mad respect all the way from the states

Alisa BeanThis podcast is better than the showThis is SO fun, and SO well done. I have been disappointed outside a few key episodes with the past seasons (the show focuses way too much on June, and is her growth really believable to the character Margaret Atwood conceived?). I look forward to this podcast though because all the hosts seem to have a much better idea of what is going on than I do, and it is delicious to dissect the plot in detail because we get to see so little of the vast world of Giles during the show itself !
-
ZmanNYCFuture Episode SuggestionThis is the best HMT podcast out there BY FAR. I loved the finale podcast. I also loved the Book Club chat prior to Season 4 Re Testaments and was wondering if you all might do a follow up book-to-show podcast now that we are post Season 4. What was the same, different, speculation of season 5 based on what’s remaining from Testaments, etc.?. The wait for season 5 is going to be tough! :)

RCGR123Great recap podcast!!!Love this podcast and these hosts! Really great Handmaid‘s tale recap. -An American in Berlin

E. ShredThank you for yet another season!A must listen companion piece to the show. I couldn’t get through this show without this podcast. You gals are invaluable!

tayyyyylllllloooooorrrrrrSeason 4 endingI love the last episode and thought it finally gave us fans all that we wanted while still being mysterious/ambiguous about the future season 5. I know one thing I really want to see more of in season 5 is luke, I feel like he played more of a background presence to the rage June was feeling and since he had his small moments it’s really setting him up to have more of a voice in season 5. My mind always drifted to him because at the end of the day he is also a refugee who lost his home, country, wife and daughter but it’s never brought up since our main focus are the women(rightfully so) and for everyone who saw the end of episode 10 I would also love to see the fall out of their action and the implications they have on their family since the story at the moment is laser focused on the handmaids that escaped and their healing. I also think season 5 would be a good way to expand on the world building of gilead and it’s impact on other places

MeMeMeAndMoreInsightful and InformedI appreciate the in depth analysis from all the contributors on this pod. The respect with which they appreciate each other's perspective is refreshing. The insight they have into the history and future of The Handmaids series allows the points of view to land in a real way. These gals are the friends circle I wish I was part of to help me to digest each ep. so glad I found this!

Herby townTestimonySince this was an Aunt heavy episode my prediction for Janeen is Aunt Lydia makes her an aunt since she doesn’t want to be a handmaid. Unfortunately Janeen will find out the grass isn’t greener. June is a single issue manipulator. Her end goal is to get Hannah back and I think she is going to tell Luke about their last meeting to rile him up. (Just like she’s stirring up the escaped hand maids) You know she’s going back in for Hannah & maybe it will be her & Luke together.

MoAZ75Best post handmaid‘s tale podcastI love your perspective from down under! My only request is that you recommend a pallet cleansing show after handmaid’s tale that isn’t impossible to find in the United States. I’m going crazy trying to find the creamerie! Thank you for your hard work ladies!
-
Calorie counting CatieLove this!!I love the Handmaids Tale and this podcast is such a great discussion. I love all the different perspectives and it’s made me notice more about the show itself. Keep up the great work ladies!!
-
AkalisonI love this podcast!!!I started listening to this podcast a few seasons ago, and fell in love with the commentary on each episode. The hosts discuss all elements of each episode and provide super Insightful discussion that I sometimes don’t even think of when watching the episode. I will definitely continue to listen to this podcast and recommend it to anyone who loves the handmaids tale. 😊

Kimmy 78722MisguidedReally ill-informed about American culture and politics. Get your facts right.

mpt1968Super insightful!!I truly enjoy this podcast and have shared it with all my friends who love The Handmaid’s Tale as much as I do. You ladies do a fantastic job of dissecting each episode. Your super insightful analyses have given me a deeper appreciation of how complex and profound the show really is. Keep up the great work!!

Lisa Marie 3.0Insightful and Authentic! Each week I watch the next episode with bated breath. I follow up with any extras I can find on Hulu. Then I’m onto Twitter. I take a day or two to digest it, then I arrive at this podcast. It’s like the perfect desert to end my three day feast! Love these ladies and their insights, humor, and meaningful banter. The authenticity of the dialogue comes shining through in each episode. As an American, I also wildly appreciate the perspective from overseas. Thank you for putting together this thought provoking podcast each week for super fans like myself who need more from The Handmaid’s Tale! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
-
NOT Ira GlassGreat Content and Discussion!I like I’ve been looking forward to this podcast almost as much as I’ve been looking forward to the episodes. A coworker told me about this podcast and it has been so great to “debrief” after episodes of the show. Really appreciate the discussion and emotion you all share! 5/5 would recommend!
-
Tia FernLove this podcastI think I enjoy the discussion on the podcast as much as the show itself.
-
misteralix1Episode 6 - bottle episode? You mentioned on the podcast that this was a “bottle episode” due to it being filmed mainly on the ship. I actually think we need a new phrase for it. This was actually a COVID filmed episode and isolated due to the filming restrictions. Love your show!

valwes59I am in LOVE with this Podcast.Ladies of Eyes on Gilead, this is my second year of listening. So...regarding The Vow....here’s my big conspiracy theory. Jeannine is caught and returned to Gilead. In order to get June back, Gilead uses not only Jeannine, but also Hannah, as leverage to get June back, by threatening to kill one or both of them. Gilead has not seen the last of June, nor her, Gilead.
-
addicts 47Great podcast!Just started listening and already love this podcast!!
-
layla70Amazing!I finished The Vows before any of my friends and frantically searched for a podcast to process my feelings with someone. I was too overcome with emotion to do it alone! I found this and immediately fell in love. Love the all female perspective- of course. Definitely subscribed!

MissME1985Best Pod on HandmaidsI've listened to quite a few podcasts recapping and reviewing Handmaids and this one is the best. Everything from the intro to the discussions. Great work ladies!
-
Luke.1314Wonderful Recap for Handmaids TaleGreat recap and really dive into the important parts of each episode.

Mamabear CarlyPro Choice?I have listened happily all the way till season 4 but am disappointed that on episode Milk you discuss the Pro life pregnancy resource center and the abortion clinic. I’ve had the unfortunate insight of having been to both places. An abortion clinic (Lovejoy in Portland Oregon) where they ,along with my abusive bf at the time hounded/pressured/ lied on several occasions as he kept forcing me to show up at there door. They knew I didn’t wanna do it but they told me I was being selfish and stupid. Next- pregnancy resource centers don’t trick ppl into coming in. They offer help for pregnant mothers in need. They help with prenatal education, maternity and baby clothes, food, baby supplies (they even gave me a stroller and other big ticket items I couldn’t afford back then. Never once did they present as an abortion clinic or ask personal questions or try to pressure my decision UNLIKE the actual abortion clinic that treated me like scum and made it seem the only way I’d be forgiven is if I let they viciously murder my child inside me. Your overview (and the shows) of this subject was so off base I’m disappointed with you ladies and had to say something. I gave two stars cuz I did enjoy earlier episodes. This one however tells me you are like all the rest of misguided women around the world who have strong opinions about something you don’t know anything about...lastly every last woman I know who’s had an abortion has deeply regretted it (which is a lot because of conditioning like this; don’t you guys recognize propaganda when you see it??) and a close member of my family became infertile after her first and only one -so if that Doctor was real and not an actor they’d deserve their license to be taken for saying that’s rubbish after saying it was true because she “legally” had too.

Sara McInerneyThey Catch ALL the DetailsListening to this show makes me want to start the series from the start (but I don’t have the stomach for it). These ladies catch all the significant to tiny details. It’s not just a recap, but a compliment to the show that’s much needed!

Adeline ClemetineMostly amazingEach week, this podcast provides a variety of insights I find intriguing, which I mostly enjoy. The exception being one person that has an affectation and voice I cannot stand: Sana Qadar. Her forced pronunciations are insufferable. Apparently, she’s Canadian, but she affects some bizarre Audrey Hepburnian voice that I can scarcely tolerate. She’s no Audrey Hepburn, though. Add to that, her opinions are boring and toe some line. What she offers is pat and/or expected PC commentary, sometimes about the United States. However, I find she has little insight into U.S. society. They bring on other voices sometimes, and I much prefer their insight to hers. Truly, I wish they’d replace her with one of them.

OfmarkBrilliant!Wonderful! I love this podcast so much! What brilliant insight these ladies have on The Handmaids Tale! I love not only the recap but the deep dives! Thanks ladies! Oh, and I love the early release!
-
Th3rachBest handmaids tale podcast ever!I have watched the series probably 20 times. It has been hard for me to find a podcast that has the same energy and feeling that I feel for the filming and depiction of this story. I love you ladies I laugh with you like you’re in my car with me!! Writing from south Florida US. ❤️ thank you so much!
-

Bekah_RobertsA perfect „after show“ after binging all seasonsThank god for these women and this podcast... Really intellectual and deep but also fun commentary about each episode. A really great listen if you want to dive deeper into each Handmaids Tale episode. Can’t get enough !
-
Bethany from AustinJust What I Needed! This podcast is exactly what I was looking for to help process all of the emotional intensity of Handmaid’s Tale. I love their thoughts and reflections on each episode, and the Australian accents are a huge bonus. I could listen to them all day long!

chercher62Hands up for this Handmaid’s Tale Podcast! There are a lot of Handmaid’s Tale podcasts. This is my favorite for a lot of reasons. Primarily, the women hosting all have strong points of view and convey those points of view without a lot of squealing laughter and talking over one another. Clearly they have a good time and are willing to throw out questions and theories to one another without having “an answer”. They notice things I don’t in episodes about the art and music and religion and the settings. I like that. I have found myself talking to the podcast when I’m in my car, try to get a word in...then feeling extremely foolish. Great job!
