    Great - One Critique
This podcast has such fantastic and knowledgeable guests, and I am always in awe of the information they discuss. My one criticism is that the host is not the best listener. He is constantly interjecting, even mansplaining and not letting the guest have space to share their views in an expansive, free, and uninterrupted fashion. Nonetheless, this podcast is fantastic; I just felt it was necessary to share my critique for the show's improvement.

    Important conversations
I had the pleasure of working on Think About It as a research assistant before it launched and learned so much in the process. These are intelligent, urgent conversations on speech, rights, equality — the fundaments of democratic societies — and great works of literature. And if you look carefully, Uli Baer’s canon of “great books” is emphatically not comprised of the dusty tomes by European men that have for too long and arbitrarily been deemed “great” by arbiters of taste and drafters of Core Curriculum syllabi. Rather, it’s Achebe, Baldwin, Gibran, Beauvoir, Zora Neale Hurston and Maxine Hong Kingston that are offered up to us as works that have shaped contemporary liberal culture in America and around the world. Alongside BBC Radio 4’s In Our Time and Thinking Allowed podcasts, and the New Books Network’s unceasing torrent of intelligent (but poorly produced) interviews, I actively look forward to new episodes of Think About It. And I feel honoured to have played an infinitesimal part in its birth! Weiter so!

    Super interesting and thought provoking
This is an incredibly interesting podcast with conversations that reflect a wide range of perspectives on free speech and other volatile issues. Also great talks on books.

    Perfect for Morning Commute
I value the opportunity to listen to this podcast and digest/unpack what is happening with speech in America (vs reading a quick news article that can’t possibly dive into the nuances that this podcast can).

    Mind-expanding discussions
Based on my listening to the first six episodes, these are vital and engaging conversations--and not only for university faculty and students. The series seems to include a wide range of opinions, all deeply considered and eloquently framed. Highly recommended.

    Thought provoking and interesting!
An eye opening podcast discussing the impact of ideas language and speech on our society. Particularly interested in the discussion on how the ALCU protects the alt-right, really gives you something to think about!
