PFproductionsI’m addicted!I spend large amounts of time driving and I just love this podcast! I’ve been into home theater since the late 80s and subscribed to such things as the Laserdisc Newsletter to The Perfect Vision magazine. Always to get an idea of what movies make great demos for my theater. This fits the bill perfectly and I love the banter and the community. Keep it up guys I LOVE IT!

Mark .V.Awesome Home Theater Podcast!!!The triplets discuss movie experiences and HT gear with listeners weekly. Literally everything is discussed!! I have bought so many movies because of how great their experiences sound. This podcast is always improving and evolving, pretty soon it’ll be like listening to paint dry in Dolby Atmos!!! 😉

Bjhorton2005Amazing Podcast, big personalityI really love this podcast. This is what you enjoy once you have the equipment set up, no matter how big or small! He breaks down movies mostly based on the experience, especially sound and impact. There has been more visitors and interviews lately, which has been a blast.

Lope9Great addition to my group of HT podcasts!I stumbled across this podcast as a weekly listener to the HT Guys podcast. I love what DJ does with this podcast as he really goes into great detail with his overviews of the sights and sounds of specific movies. His explanations and descriptions of movies are so excellent it made me go out and buy a new 4K disc player and about 10 movies to start my own deep dives into the experience. I was further excited when I found out he’s from Boston. Go Sox💪🏻

th0093Superb Home Theater PodcastI came across Bright Side after hearing Ara Derderian (HTGuys Podcast) mention he was going to be talking Home Theater with DJ. I decided to listen and very happy I did. DJ has a great appreciation for why we watch Home Theater. It’s for the experience! I love how he dissects a movie and really discusses the sound and visual recreation that defines the experience of having a home theater (or any media room / enhanced vision or audio experience). This is a podcast for anyone who wants to better appreciate 4K, Blu-ray or streaming source material that you can experience in your home theater environment. Strong recommendation!

Capt_PatchExcellentEver feel like you’re the only one that truly appreciates your home theater and the sights and sounds of the movies you play there? Bright Side has that same passion about movies at home. It’s not really a review of movies as much as it’s a review of the sight and sound of movies that makes you want to watch and rewatch. I just picked up Jaws and Apollo 13 in 4K, movies I haven’t seen in years, based solely on his review. I just completely updated my system, so I’ve been binging this podcast at work during the day, then coming home and “pushing play”.

10 Xbox UserCreating a Community for Home TheaterI came across this podcast as a listener to AVRant. I was initially excited that this was another place to get home theater technical questions answered. Brightside makes fills a gap in home theater podcasting in that it focuses on the community and what we are finding fun to watch. This is the only content going for home theater that is focused on the community and the connection we all have through great movies and shows. If you really enjoy your home theater and are looking to connect with other enthusiasts about what content is amazing, what to stay away from, and what scenes are going to maximize your gear...this is for you.

John MensoreI love movies always have always willI listen to alot of podcasts and I have loved home theater since my days as a college student at WVU when I bought my first surround system in around 1994. I used that system incorrectly for years. I had my surround speakers on top of my mains I knew no better. But I still had best system of all my friends. About 1999 I added a Velondyne CHT-12 which is stll my sub today. The reason I am telling you this is that there are landmarks in our home theater journey. Since then I have added atmos but before that I have purchased thousands of dvds and blu rays 4k etc. This podcast does the great service of getting those discs of your shelf. Other really fun home theater podcasts talk about systems setups and problems you may never have but this podcast is all about getting those discs of your shelf. Often I was paralyzed by choice of what to watch since I started listening to this podcast my 3-d and 4K viewing has skyrocketed along with my enjoyment of Home Theater. Thanks DJ
