    Friendship and Fragrances
This is a just a really great podcast. On the outside it is a very approachable and well done fragrance podcast that is perfect for people who love fragrances but not the pretense generally associated with them. But for me it is actually an INCREDIBLY humorous, meandering but well put together exploration of friendship, grief, joy, masculinity, depression, relationships, life in rural America and a million other things tied up in a fragrance podcast wrapper. I binge listened to the entire slate of episodes over a couple of months, and for me what makes the show work is this perfect combination of Myke and Ryan as two easy to listen to, self deprecating but obviously very thoughtful and intelligent hosts with a unique perspective and an even more unique friendship holding a very open forum on an incredibly diverse slate of fragrances while letting their own life stories, vulnerabilities, and personalities frame the discussion.

    Genuine
In a world where people would monetize their grandmother, it is refreshing to find these dudes simply being honest and direct. The friendship is genuine, as is the approach to the completely irrational but immersive world of fragrance. Keep up the great work!

    Mostly good
Enjoyed every episode except the one with Tod.

The best fragrance podcast ever made
Myke and Ryan have created such a great space for all fragrance lovers. Their hilarious, uncensored, off-the-wall commentary makes it feel like you’re just sitting down and grabbing a beer (or rather, a bottle of cologne) with your two goofy friends. They know when to be silly, when to be serious, and everything in between. The general format of their episodes (Intro, One Night Stand review of the prior fragrance, First impressions of the new fragrance, “Who’s wearing this”) is perfectly executed. From Ryan’s passion of all things with “meaty clackers” and Myke’s dry heaving every time he smells a hint of aquatic, I hope that I can listen to these two lovable goofs for the rest of my fragrance-loving life.

    Two idiots just like me!
So stumbled on to this podcast because like most people here I’m obsessed with fragrances. Myke and Ryan are hilarious and I get a kick out of their ignorance about fragrances. They make me feel like a fragrance aficionado, or really just make me happy that there are others out there just like me mediocre looking, “simple” (dumb as nails) and love to smell fantastic! Truly entertaining! Keep it up y’all!!

    Insightful, entertaining and hilariously irreverent
Myke and Ryan don’t take themselves or the fragrances they discuss too seriously and that makes all the difference. I admit that I wasn’t expecting too much when I stumbled upon this, but was quickly hooked - a welcome departure from most fragrance-related content. That the podcast is so well produced is an added bonus.

    Addicted To This Show
I’m a cologne addict who loves to listen to podcasts on my daily commute and downtime. For some reason I had never even searched for cologne podcasts until 3 days ago. Fortunately I found The Cologne Podcast right away. Myke & Ryan sound just like my buddies and I talking about and comparing our colognes. They are knowledgeable and funny and each episode (I’m binging and on episode 12 already) they are getting better and more comfortable and it’s a really fun listen. Keep spraying it up, boys. Your work is appreciated. The Cologne Man on IG

    Good show
Binged it from the beginning over the course of 2 weeks. These guys are great, relatable, funny, and down to earth. They do a great job making the listeners feel comfortable by not trying too hard with all of these fragrances. You can feel how genuine they are and that they love doing this.

Easy-going, honest, not pretentious, not intimidating. These dudes are so good and put on such a good show. Spray it up y’all.

    A great listen!
I dont ever leave reviews for anything on apple or anywhere other than the occasional fragrantica one. But these guys are great. Listening to them grow their noses has been a treat and hear a couple other enthusiasts talk about their passion has been encouraging. Ive listened to every episode and vibe with them. They are also amazing at reaching out and listening to their community. If i could rate more stars i would, so i bought them a coffee

    One of my favorite podcasts
With my job I pretty much do my own thing in the shop all day and because of that I get to listen to music and podcasts for 9-10 hours a day. This one was so good that I went through the whole show in two work weeks. I was surprised to see how young the show is because the mixing and overall production quality are fantastic. The only downside is that I now have to wait for new episodes to come out. Keep it up guys

    Fantastic podcast
Love this podcast, too bad it has pod faded and is dead now.

    Very entertaining!
I’m a woman and have binged about half of all their episodes, so that’s gotta say something! They have the perfect mixture of knowledge and humor, covering not only designer, but quite a lot of niche brands that allowed me to discover stuff I normally wouldn’t have. Thanks guys! Keep up the good work!
  • LongviewTX
    Great Podcast!
Myke and Ryan are a great duo, not only funny but very informational! I have listened to the podcast for awhile and it allows me to stay informed about the newest fragrances for men and also helping me understand the differences between colognes. They provide useful insight and excellent recommendations!

    Wrists and chests my dudes
Long time listener, first time reviewer. First off, best fragrance podcast I’ve heard. Love you guys, even if listening sends me to confession. That being said, it’s all about dabbing those wrists and popping that chest. I touch wrists and rub the rest around. I’m with Myke on this one. Can’t stop listening. Thanks for the latest review, saved me a stack of cash with that skip. Getting on that summer fragrance.

    Love these guys
It’s amazing how genuine and entertaining these guys are! I love buying fragrances and have for a while now, but no one around me enjoys them quite like I do and listening to these guys makes me feel a tad bit better about my addiction! 😂
  • Mitsouko68G
Decent fragrant conversation between F bombs
Dropping the occasional F-bomb is expected in a podcast nowadays, but to hear it literally 30 times in a 15 minute podcast about perfume is unnecessary and frankly, annoying. Otherwise, this podcast has potential as it is occasionally enjoyable and insightful.

This is The Aventus of Podcasts!
It’s so refreshing to hear 2 normal dudes discussing fragrances in a fun & engaging format. Myke & Ryan have a chemistry that only good friends can have together.
