I like BP—but I would never donate. Shame that Krystal maliciously conflates the precocious puberty of a 6 year old with the actual puberty of a 12 year old. Is BP owned by the Pritzker family? How would Ms. KK feel if her teen daughter suddenly asked for T and a double mastectomy?

Just awful now, barely get the news, might as well name it Krystal’s pity party. Bye

Described as a podcast that reflects differing perspectives, the episodes I have listened to reflect two people who agree on 99% of topics and sit down and pat each other on the back. If you are really looking for an honest debate with differing perspectives, this is not for you.

“Tim Dillon shreds Palantir” is sadly what has become a typical “story” in this once-great podcast.

I can listen again….Krystal’s unhinged ranting has turned me away from the show. Emily needs to defend her positions a lot more…she caves into Krystal’s unfounded claims.

The recent reviews are odd and wrong. The show hasn’t changes and offers something no other daily news show does. The core four are fantastic and love the people they get in.

I’ve finally stepped away from the show and after a few weeks off, it’s become clear how little I was actually getting out of it. At its core, this isn’t a news program. it’s a talk show wrapped in the aesthetics of independent journalism. The format mostly revolves around Krystal and Saagar reacting to headlines and other people’s reporting, stretching what is essentially commentary into 90 minutes of opinion. Once I stopped listening, I realized how much better it feels not to consume a constant stream of secondhand outrage or affirmation. The show doesn’t inform so much as it reinforces. You’re either nodding along with Krystal or with Saagar, but either way, you’re not being challenged…….you’re just deepening your own bias. This isn’t groundbreaking reporting. It’s The View with a different aesthetic, or CNN dressed up as independent thought. If you’re curious, take a break and ask yourself: Am I actually learning anything new here ……or just listening to people react to the same stories I could read myself?

I’m sorry, why do we care what Steve Bannon has to say ? He shouldn’t be given a mouthpiece.

These folks are above average smart for the pundit set, but a Liberal and partisan lense covers almost everything , Krystals platitudes seem to always tapper into “and WHATEVERRRR” as final validation. Sagar should also try to stop having the last word in every topic. I also can’t remember one time they could name an oligarch other than Elon Musk. I think they would never dare mention an Adelson or Soros that’s for sure… after years of listening, I need to drop.

6/1/25 update: The podcast no longer pretends to be balanced. It offers one-sided, distorted opinions masquerading as "facts". Time to give up and unfollow. Independents have lost yet another source for factual news. Prior Review: I used to love this podcast. I particularly enjoyed listening to Krystal analyze a broad variety of issues from a perspective not covered elsewhere. The show is now just Krystal repetitively ranting and raving over her single passion, shouting over others to prevent expression of any facts or viewpoints that challenge her emotions, conflating points in every other breath, lying about basic facts, badgering anyone who doesn’t share her passion, unable to express a rational or crisp defense of her obsession. Krystal is starting to sound like Rachel Maddow on MSNBC (cringe). Every now and then Saagar manages to bring up some interesting bit of historical context before he gets shouted down, or interview someone rational and interesting without Krystal around to ruin it. I am reconsidering the validity of the prior points Krystal had me considering…she is clearly incapable of honest reporting or objective reasoning. To be fair, her obsession has some merit, but her emotional take-no-prisoners approach distracts from her position. It has been sad to watch her disintegrate. Hope the show can right itself.

Putting politics aside, Ryan seems to continually interrupt Emily. Dude chill

This show is unlistenable since saagar went on paternity leave for some odd reason. It’s just a leftist circle jerk and Emily is not a conservative or she is just too afraid to pushback on any crazy things the Marxists say.

For some reason the show was more “balanced” when Joe was in charge. I really miss getting two perspectives.

There was once a time that I (Republican) could listen hto this podcast with my adult daughter (Democrat) and we could discuss topics, share thoughts on the podcast and used it as a method of finding middle ground. Used to be good. Go back to the old way and replace Krystal with someone more open minded. Her TDS is killing the show.

Reading recent reviews has been comforting. They reflect how I’ve felt about the show for the past six months. It was once a space where balanced perspectives helped me form my own opinion. Now, it feels unrecognizable, with Krystal often dominating the conversation with biased takes that are frequently unsupported and easily disproven with a quick Google search. I hope the show returns to what originally made it compelling for so many listeners.

Ryan Grimm represents what old school journalism used to be. Get to the bottom of the story and keep at it till it’s figured out. Also Krystal’s moral compass is not to be taken lightly in this day and age.

Blatantly biased towards the left. Rehashed Racheal Maddow esq talking points that can be proven to be false with simple internet searches are the course du jour and backbone of this podcast to the point one would believe this “independent” podcast to be produced by MSNBC. If you’re looking for a liberal echo chamber this is for you.

If Biden was in such decline how did he in the 2024 State of the Union go off script and bat Marjorie Taylor Green away like a fly when she heckled him? Snap out of it!

I used to listen to this podcast to get both sides of the news. I felt like Krystal and sagar did a decent Job of countering perspectives and providing some facts to back up their ideas. But the last 6 months it seems that Krystal is all you hear talking and so this show is now just like the mainstream media, becoming so left leaning that your credibility is questionable. When one party literally can do nothing right, everything is so bad and fear fear fear - people time out. Sad. People are desperate for factual news where we can form our own opinions based on unbiased research and reporting. Where have these journalists gone?!?!?! This is no longer a podcast to listen to for people that are looking for both sides of a story mostly grounded in fact.

I have never written a review for a podcast, but loved listening this show after I saw them on Joe Rogan. But it’s truly exhausting hearing a one sided debate about Gaza. Every episode there is always a Gaza segment, and while they have had a few Israelis and pro-Israel guests on, it’s extremely clear their bias towards Israel.

Krystal’s takes are uninformed and predictable.

Krystle’s TDS is hard to ignore and listen to. She doesn’t believe in the economic principles of supply/demand whenever the topic of immigration and labor supply comes up. She’s basically a “flat earther” regarding supply/demand principles. The TDS has really flared up in 2025.

Not sure when or what happened but all she does is wine. Hard to follow. No longer a balanced program when someone continually try’s to take over.

My father and I have very different opinions on topics and politics and this used to be the one show I would recommend to him to get a both sides of the road look at stories and get different opinions to make a more informed decision. Now I regret doing it because all this show seems to do is side with one viewpoint, which is the same reason I stopped watching fox, cnn and msnbc. Hope y’all can recover and go back to what made this show great when it first came out.

Ever since trumps re election this show has been hard to listen too. Krystal single handily is the #1 reason. Use to be a non bias show but her hatred for trump is just impossible to listen too now. Saagar is the man but he can do so much better without her

Ryan Grim is a national treasure.

I’ve been a loyal listener and appreciated this podcast for its balanced, fact-driven perspective. But lately, it’s taken a sharp turn—now it’s nonstop ranting and emotional takes about Trump.

These guys advertise as left and right, but since Trump’s re-election, it’s been all left of center. During Biden’s term, there were some conservative viewpoints, but it’s all left now. Used to listen regularly, but it’s just MSNBC without the corporate sponsorship now.

Saagar please leave Krystal behind at this point. Her commentary is dreadful and delusioned and is the reason I can no longer listen. I will however continue to follow you so please take the opportunity to step out on your own.

I’ve listened to just about every episode since they started but I can’t anymore. I’ve always been in the middle and that’s what attracted me to the show but unfortunately it’s just another CNN now. All-In podcast is all that’s left for a healthy debate from both sides

This pod always struck me as a podcast that was for people who could hear the negatives about their own party. Or whatever party you affiliate closest with. I like the honestly around an issue and topics which takes precedence over political party loyalty. If you’re leaving or giving 1 star because you can’t handle bad press for Trump during a presidency his own party is calling a failed admin. Then please leave, you likely weren’t the target audience anyway 🙌

I just can’t do it anymore. The show has gotten so inflammatory. Just report the facts instead of just assuming you know.

Used to be great, but now it just seems like I’m listening to Crystal whine all the time. Also seems to be more sensationalist than in the past.

Been listening since the beginning, its literally all Anti Trump every show now. CNN, MSNBC, Breaking Points, no difference anymore. Save your time go somewhere else. Haven’t listened in a month its unbearable now.

Used to be a great non biased source of news. Now it’s all “Trumps an idiot” “a moron” I’ll look somewhere else for non biased news.

I’ve been listening to your podcast since it started even before with rising. I can’t put my finger on it, but I’m just not enjoying it as much anymore. I’m not a subscriber so I don’t have a lot of room to comment.

They used to be fairly balanced although slightly left but unfortunately it has just turned full Trump bashing as time has progressed. I am guessing they are playing to their crowd but it has definitely pushed this listener away. I just want a balanced view. Why is that so hard these days?

I have moved away from cable news and a friend recommended Breaking Points! I enjoy that they share the facts and then debate the merits of the story based on the left and right viewpoints. This show has opened my eyes to viewpoints that I can respect even if I don’t agree with them. Do yourself a favor and- and subscribe!

Love this show! Seems like a lot of their negative reviews are from more right wing folks that are having a hard time accepting that many other right wing folks are unwilling to twist themselves into a pretzel to defend the indefensible. Both Krystal and Saagar are doing a great job! Love this podcast for sure!

This used to be unbiased and I enjoyed it. Now Saagar just lays down to squeaky Krystal Ball. Absolutely terrible

My only source of news needed now. Contrary to other reviews, I like that the hosts admit and embrace their backgrounds (or biases), and I find the show perfectly balanced, honest, informative, and entertaining. Thank you all!

I was looking for a thoughtful middle of the road show. That is DEFINITELY not this show! The biased half truths is Truly disappointing. I keep trying to listen but when I know I’m being told half truths or the facts that don’t match their agenda get left out of “news” .

I’ve followed this team since the inception of the podcast. In 2025 the quality of the show has suffered, mainly in my opinion because Krystal is no longer a rational actor. She has turned into quite the harpy as of late suffering from full blown TDS. I think this team deserves success but I just can’t get through a single podcast at this point. Unfortunate. 5 stars until 2025, 1 star since.
