On History Daily, we do history, daily. Every weekday, host Lindsay Graham (American Scandal, American History Tellers) takes you back in time to explore a momentous event that happened ‘on this day’ in history. Whether it’s to remember the tragedy of December 7th, 1941, the day “that will live in infamy,” or to celebrate that 20th day in July, 1969, when mankind reached the moon, History Daily is there to tell you the true stories of the people and events that shaped our world—one day at a time. So if you’re stuck in traffic, bored at work—wherever you are, listen to History Daily to remind yourself that something incredible happened to make that day historic.

    Great…but the adds
Overall great content but a 16 minute show with 10 minutes of adds is a bit much.

Lindsay’s voice is so relaxing to listen to and I’m addicted to this podcast
Someone get me a addiction therapist I haven’t left my house in 2 weeks

    Got me again!
On a daily basis, this is an incredible "flyover view" of some historical event, time, setting, etc. ... then April 1st rolls around. Without fail, I fall for it. So accustomed am I to the stellar research, I take for granted the high-quality sound and editing. No, Deb, there's nothing wrong with your earbuds. Nobody's asleep at the switch. Ugh. Every. Darned. Year. Score: Lindsay - won || Deb - didn't again! 😄

    Great podcast
I would like to respond and shoot down some other reviews this podcast is NOT crazy left leaning like some people say it can oversimplify but it is not too biased also people are mad that there isn’t a episode on 9/11. I agree with but there was probably a old episode on it. Also ADDS!

    Propaganda
Dear “not that” Lindsey graham, after listening to the episode on Rockefeller Foundation “philanthropy” I now wonder if you might actually be that other LG. Get yourself a copy of Jane Mayer’s Dark Money and learn how JDR used his wealth during the last gilded age to saddle us with a form of unelected unaccountable plutocratic power that has now devoured are country. Generally I like the program and as I can’t send unless I tap a star the bad rating applies to just that episode.

    Really great podcast
I enjoy all of the podcasts that Lindsay Graham produces, but this one is especially great because it packs so much information into a reasonable amount of time.

    Too many adds
I have been listening to this podcast for a few months, I liked it enough to pay for a year of programming. It has been ads free until a couple days ago. I won’t renew my subscription if I have to listen to ads .
  • Carkel
    Too many ads
This is less a podcast, and more of a series of ads that has a story in between. It’s a 20 minute podcast and about half of it is ads. Yikes.
  • Too many nicknames?
    Left wing propoganda
Had to stop listening after 2/20/25 episode in Karl Marx and the Communist Manifesto. He basically glorified him. Disgusting

    History of greed
Nothing but ads. If you want to know the history of greed this is a perfect podcast

    Episode 997
This review is specifically related to episode 997, Saturday matinee, and the episode was from a show, entitled true Survivor stories. In this episode, the host and narrator described the occupation of an area in the city of Atlanta by violent climate extremists as an uprising and uses the word love to describe what was happening. During this incident, a police officer was shot and nearly died. I find the characterization of this incident appalling and I am offended that the show with air this episode. I usually am able to put up with the clearly left leanings of the shows host, Lindsay Graham, because I truly like the vast majority of the content and find the show interesting. However, the fact that this episode which glorifies violence against police officers was aired is a step too far. Therefore, I will no longer subscriber listen to any NOISER or Lindsey Graham show.

    ADS. ADS. ADS
All you hear is ads. 2 minutes of talking, 2 minutes of ads, 2 minutes of talking and back to ads, etc. Sadly greed is ruining everything.

    Too many ads
I recalled today why I stopped listening - too many adverts—ruins the listening experience. What a shame. Host is good and content is interesting.

    Time wasted on ads
As a public floor history teacher I would love to be able to recommend this to students, but who would listen, I’m eight minutes into a 14 minute episode and I’ve already heard three ads, what’s the point?
  • CA Ray O'Sunshine
    Wish it was History weekly
This is clearly a professionally done podcast. The narrator, the sound effects, the editing, etc: everything is very well done. However, the content is too short. There is barely any story telling. They just have time to discuss a couple of dates and loosely tie them together with a two sentences that summarize years or decades in between them. This would be much better as ‘History weekly’ episodes that would last 30 to 45 mins. And the deal breaker for me is how many ads are inserted. I get that podcasts have to cover their expenses but 6 mins of ads across a 15-min episode is very excessive. Overall, the negatives are significant enough that I am not going to be a regular.
  • Corv_Mackensen
    They just want money
The reasons I say this are because there are, oh, 8-10 MINUTES of ads in a 18 minute episode, so it doesn’t seem like they care about content. Also there are episodes behind a pay wall, which is effectively saying “Guys our ridiculous amount of ads aren’t enough, we have to charge for episodes.” The only thing putting this review at 3 stars is Lindsey Graham, he’s an incredible host.

I really like this podcast although it is very annoying having two minute ads every four minutes.

    Not Liberal Bias
To those commenting about liberal bias. It’s history. History is not to be rewritten, because you feel it’s not fair to you, or, your political views. Get over yourselves.
  • milliejill
    Good content, too many ads
I really like this podcast, but it seems like there’s an inordinate amount of commercials. I like his voice, and the content is interesting.
  • Tvs70
    Awesome!
Great cast with engaging review. Ignore right wingers that conflate EVERYTHING with a political position.
  • Creepinsammy
    Too repetitive these says
I used to absolutely love this podcast. However, in the last year or so I have noticed that there are tons of recycled episodes. I realized that for the newer listeners, this is not an issue but for us OG’s it’s a little bit annoying.
  • forrest_drum
Spots spots spots spots oh here’s another spot
Pod is ok but there is no rhythm due to the incredible amount of spots. For a 15 min show it’s wild. Prob 6 min is spots.
  • Used to hate LA....
    Pretty good podcast
I love the podcast, it’s relaxing and very entertaining. Though, I do think it is a bit biased, for example most of the episodes just talk about stuff that’s happened in the last hundred years that are political arguments. Why not just stick to history and not put politics into this, and make the episodes a bit longer
  • Sisyphus_of_Alice
    Good too many commercials
Good history podcast but way too many commercials

    Oops, not all the truth
Listening to the episode on leaving Afghanistan. Seems as if they only have the Democrats Truth in this episode, regardless of whether or not Joe Biden thought he had to do something he didn’t have to do what he did. Joe was the president! He could have chosen to postpone us leaving and protected Bogam and the Afghanis, who worked with us. This was part of his “legacy” a vanity project. The man got 13 soldiers killed at Abby gate. And has now decided not to acknowledge their death under his watch. He’s a sad sack, incredibly dishonorable and his administration is terrible. He chose poorly. It’s time for your history to actually be what happened and not what you’d like to spin it to believe happened. That is real journalism.
  • Alaskaguy6
A pretty bias look at history
Leans very left/liberal bias. Has a political agenda not a fair representation of history
  • craneshaft
    Garbage Biased History
I used to listen, but can’t stomach the blatant lefty and woke agenda. They don’t even attempt to hide it anymore.
  • CR_Bell
    Used to enjoy it
I used to enjoy this, but the bias leftward has become more obvious. The show started to lose me when they did an episode on Greta Thunberg. While she’s of some minor importance to current events, I think including her on a history podcast is a bit presumptuous. It’s only gotten more obvious since, and I think I’m just about done with it.
  • Adif09
    Love his voice
Listening to this podcast is interesting
  • Sad-faced
    Decided to stay
So the ads are exasperating. It’s a quarter of the show and it’s made me skip most days. However I was about to unsubscribe when I read some of the recent reviews. It’s so absurd how fragile some right wingers are. This show is not very biased. I’ve never really even noticed a lean to the left. It’s incorrect or overly simplistic but it’s not very political. The content is entertaining and informative. But please, please get rid of at least one ad break. Make the ads on the beginning and the end but leave the middle as a continuous narrative
  • leslie_will
    Purely Propaganda
Revisionist history. Wildly biased. Factually inaccurate.
  • Kev1580
    Too left-leaning, not even-handed history
It’s not the ads that bother me about this podcast. The producers are clearly left-leaning-to-far-left as well as inaccurate at times.
  • Agonzo529
    Wokeism at its best
IF Lindsay doesn’t wimp out and block you for criticism, he’ll blame his writer for their anti America show. There’s no bigger event in history than 9/11/01, no one cares about a Chilean coup from 50 years ago.
  • Kaylies33
    My favorite podcast
This is part of my daily routine and I’m smarter for it
  • Ggdhbcdvbhh
    Bias
Was following show for a couple years. Just listened to afghan withdrawal. I wasn’t alive for most of the old topics but I was for this. Blamed Trump for not getting passports and no blame for Biden. I remember what happened and know that this was a poorly ran operation. Can’t trust a show with this much bias
  • Preserve Conservatism
    Preserve conservatism
Longtime listener. The show has always been left leaning. Mr graham you are entitled to your own opinion, but you are not entitled to your own facts. Joe Biden completely botched the withdrawal from Afghanistan. He must own that. Stay with the facts the audience of liberals that you’re trying to pander to are destroying America.
  • Hphluis104
    Very slanted
I’m not a republican. Don’t like trump that much but when you make it seem like one political party had all the fault and the other had none it’s just obvious that there’s a clear agenda here. Just tell history like it happened. Unsub
  • ur momsfavorite
    Very woke and biased
At first I liked the story telling, but then the message became very woke and biased. Very disappointed! Especially, blaming the Afghanistan situation on trump. Seeing as how Joe Biden did one of the worst withdrawals in American history, killing 13 veterans and only mentioning there names in a twitter post 2 years later.
  • JBthrrr
    Strong political bias
Started listening and had to stop. Clearly a pro-party / administration type bias that is not at all from an objective perspective. Blaming the former administration for the incompetence of the democrats and the stupidly disastrous way the US withdrew from Afghanistan. Nough said.
  • chowdaboy
    Bias
It is too bad history can’t be conveyed without political bias. The Afghanistan evacuation episode of course takes shot at Trump without holding Biden accountable for an August evacuation after being in office since January. Damaged America’s world reputation amongst allies yet podcaster never mentions the Biden administration’s massive failure while in office to meet an arbitrary goal of evacuation by 9/11. Cost the lives of American soldiers. Embarrassing work by podcaster
  • Bob 16538fast
I can’t take the hard left direction this show is going
I used to be a regular subscriber. But after this authors attempt to put his left-leaning spin on history, I have to find something else. I have moved on and will look for a better more accurate portrayal of history.
  • L C J 2000
    Full of poo poo
That darn 45th president not only botched the withdrawal from Afghanistan,he also started both world wars, the American Civil war and the Heidelberg disaster. The real Lindsey Graham has chunks of this clown in his morning movements.
  • 2niknam
    Disappointing
I used to enjoy this daily dose of history. Now I’m finding most of the content is negative and makes me feel bad. (I understand why the host sounds so depressed- most of his other podcasts are negative topics, too.) The quantity of ads is over the top. And many times, after listening to 6 minutes of ads, I realize the show is a repeat - just call it an encore so we don’t waste time or space (no need to say it’s remastered like in the past).

    History for Everyone
I love this podcast so much that I’ve made it part of my nightly routine as I get ready for bed. In less than 20 minutes, the host tells an interesting synopsis of a specific event from that day in world history. Some of the topics are things we’ve all heard of, and some are more obscure, but the stories are all equally enjoyable. If you’re a history fan (like me), you’ll love it. If you want to learn more about history but don’t have time or energy to study it, this is what you’re looking for!
  • bl92ud96mu01
One star because can’t give zero
Noiser+ from the start great, up to you. We have the choice to ignore you. Retroactively going back and making things people already have in their libraries as Noiser+ is unethical (at best). Podcast is fine, host’s business practices are trash.
