I had never heard of this show but was looking for content on the movie Persona. I knew it was gonna be bad with all the raving about Eggers and Villeneuve right off the bat; one of the hosts is annoyingly into Jarmusch and the other had never heard of him, which is somehow equally annoying in this context. Anyway I had to shut it off once they started actually discussing Persona because the hosts were unsure whether color movies existed in 1966. So dumb you guys, so very dumb. Extra points for saying of a movie that uses radical visual tactics throughout that it “could have been a play.”

I especially like the analysis of pop cultural landmarks through the lens of the current “new right” for lack of a better term. Please cover eyes wide shut next. Keep up the great work
