    Great show
As a lister from South of the border it is interesting to hear all of the stuff that has been implemented in Canada regarding gun ownership. I fully expect the US government to try to get there soon. I also enjoy all the talk about competitions from IDPA to three gun to Mapleseed. Speaking of Mapleseed I would love to get your opinion on the Thompson Center version of the 10/22, branded the T/CR 22.
  • MPJ1297
The only podcast I actively listen to.
Slam Fire Radio is one of the best gun related podcasts there is. The opinions are usually pretty well grounded and the show is easy and fun to listen to. And as an American, it really helps you appreciate the freedoms with guns you do have. I listen on Spotify but redownloaded the podcast app so I could leave a review. Keep up the good work.

    Great podcast
Although I listen to your podcast on stitcher radio. I came to iTunes to leave a review, you guys always seem to mention it and nobody ever leaves one. so I’ll just say this, You guys have a great show, I look forward to its release every week. I like that you actually talk about guns and not politics like a lot of podcast these days. Keep up the good work.
  • C L Chuckles
    Great Show
The banter between the hosts make the show fun and a joy to listen to. The info contained is great for anyone interested in shooting, hunting, or throwing your friends under the bus. Great show. Chuck from Alabama

    Hosers
Fun podcast. Trevor talks to much. Everybody is the star of the show except Kelly. She is the super star. Espesially when she has a head cold, and talks with that sexy voice.
  • Tyler JPM
    It's okay I guess.
Could use more SKS discussion, otherwise it's an alright show if you've already burned through all your other podcasts.
  • Markk9
    Very Good Show
I’m a listener from the US, great show, keep it up.
  • Mtiselin
    educational, yet entertaining
The hosts really blend well together and compliment each other. knowledge is great and they don't bullcrap their way through stuff they don't know. This podcast is so awesome I'd love to be on it someday, oh wait, i already was...
  • MrAlGore
    Great Cast!
Thanks for the great cast! Good coverage of a wide variety of subjects. Good topics such as guns to tournements to news and updates in the gun world to even archery they have it all. Some good reviews on reloading lately too! Keep an eye out for squirels around here too. Stay classy Canada. Please send us more geese. J
  • BoxcarBob
Great show from our brothers from the north
I love the show and hearing the canadian slant on gun related topics. Wish you guys had the right to carry like in the states, maybe someday. 4 thumbs up from Georgia. P.S. Welcome Frosty to the show you are a great addition.

    Great Podcast
I’ve been listening for about a year, and have listened to other firearms related podcasts. But I keep coming back to Slamfire, week after week, because this is both and informative and ENTERTAINING show. I like how the show delves in to diverse topics from rimfire, rifles, handguns/competition/, self defense, gun laws, and now with the new French guy, hunting. More talk on shotgunning would be cool. As an American, the Canadian take on this topic is interesting (how to pursue this hobby/interest in a restricted country)—also love the accents and demonstration of the Canadian inferiority complex. My only criticism is that Fur-Latte’s report on what he did with guns each week is REALLY long—how does he have time to do this much? Not a true criticism—just jealous…… Appreciate that you put this much effort in producing a great show—one of the best overall shows I have heard.

    I don't know why, but...
...I really enjoy this podcast. It could be because the hosts are funny. Except they're not particularly funny. It could be because of their vast firearms knowledge. But it's really not all that vast. It could be because they are so darned nice. Yet they're sometimes a bit cruel, especially to one another. I don't know why I like it. But I do. A lot. I give it two American thumbs-up, which, at the current exchange rate, equals 2-2/3 Canadian thumbs-up.

Love The Show and can't wait for the next one.
I really do like this show. However it is not the same without Owen. I wish him and his family the best. As for the others they are fun and great to listen to. If you want to hear about shoothing gophers in the face, some attention on bow hunting, to Matthews disdain, and Canadian competition shoothing then listen to this. They are great at keeping you informed of the gun regulations and what is coming up in their government. They also give great advice and stories on their competition shooting. They have to be good because some of the big podcasters go up just to shoot in their charity events. They show that even with their gun laws you can own and shoot weapons and have fun with what you have. Canada is lucky to such a great group of men that pass on very much needed information. Great show and keep it up everyone, you are one of the best. Larry 3 thumbs up.

    Canadians have guns?
I have greatly enjoyed this show since finding it early this year. Its full conversation on competition shooting, archery, 1911s, airplanes, and squirrels. I am saddened that having caught up on all 125 episodes to date that i will now have to cut back to a weekly dose of Canuck gun crack. Now to see if this review gets on the show before episode 150. All in all keep up the great shows, and try and get a few more Owens prepping corners in if you can wrangle him in for a full show.

    Download it!!
I look forward to every episode they release. Slam fire has become my favorite podcast. The strange thing is I'm a Texan but I relate more with three Canadians than any other podcast that is based in the states! Keep up the great work gentleman and I'll keep listing. Matthew can you send me some 22lr? Partridge! Sincerely, Matt M. from Texas.
  • Blind Sheepdog
    Don't Miss This Show
The three hosts combine great information and instruction along with a hilarious touch.
  • Rob Lyttle
    Amusing and Informative
Fun show, good topics, 3 crazy Canadians shooting the s*#% about firearms, hunting and shooting sports realted topics. I love the hunting stories, but too bad Matthew spends most of his time wondering around the woods with nothing to show for it. Keep it up guys.

    Top Notch
Love this podcast. These guys go together like P,B & J. Funny, entertaining and educational. The fastest 90 minutes in podcasting, yes it's that good. But wait there's more. There is also Action Shooting Radio (Trevor also host's) which is a great follow up to this show. Subscribe to both you'll be glad you did. Kinda like the Gun Dudes of the north.
  • Dust_tay
    Great show
Great (most of the time gun podcast). If you don't like it your a hoser. No your a hoser. Take off eh! No! You take off!
  • Barrismurf
    ADHD in full auto!
These guys are great. They can't help the fact they are from Canada. A pro 2A podcast from a country that doesn't have a 2nd ammendment. You will have to look over Trevor's marathon length "what I did (better than you) with guns this week" segment. That is why iPods and iPhones have a fast forward feature. It's not his fault. Chronic exposure to the arctic cold has left him... touched.

60% of the time, it's good every time.
60% of the time, it's good every time. I don’t usually use iTunes but I have caught every episode over the past 2 months and I figured I would warn the iTunes population. This podcast is much like drinking a bottle of whiskey. It always starts out fun, but then you wake up with a bloody nose, not knowing where you have been, with a pounding headache and feeling a little dirty... Just kidding, this is an entertaining show hosted by a rafter of turkeys. Generally they try to talk about guns and IPSC, but mostly you will just hear banter about Trevor's 1911, Mathew being distracted by squirrels and Owen giggling in the background. Occasionally you do get a bit of good information, but that is usually when they have a guest on. So drink up, whether you prefer a fine single malt scotch, great American bourbon or, whatever Canadian’s have for whiskey, this podcast will always have something for your taste.
  • Cornfed1100
    Fantastic show
Slam Fire is like sitting at a round table in a bar with your best friends. You can find both fact and BS delivered in the same tongue and check methods you friends might use after a few beers. I suspect these guys are friends because finding a fellow Canadian that likes hand guns is tough. This group enjoys shooting and offers a perspective that is a departure from most Canadian gun owners. I suspect they study Americans and their 2nd amendment freedoms. Keep up the great show.
  • timberwolf34
    Awesome Podcast
Greatest firearms podcast in Canada. If you love firearms and in particular 1911's then this is the show for you.
  • Paul Lathrop
Entertainment and firearms all in one show
Great chemistry among the group. I wait every week to see what they will come up with next. The show is focused on the great white north, but Yankees will enjoy it as well. Quick tip guys, make Furlotte go at the end of the show with what he did with guns this week, that way the rest of you have time to kick back, watch a season or 2 of your favorite shows on TV, wash the car, and if you hurry you could get back just s he hits the mid point of his week!
  • TMarcS
What did you do with guns this week...
Matt-"went to gravel pit and shot my point 22." Owen-"shot some fowl" Trevor-"Sunday at 12:01 started loading some rounds... blah blah ... 2 hours later... And that's how you catch a squirrel with a snare. Hello. You guys still there?" Fantastic show and extremely entertaining!
  • Robert-Wyatt
    Great Fun Podcast
I would say these guys are like the Canadian Version of Gun Dudes, but I don't have the shakes after listening to them. This is a great show and the guys work well together and keep the show moving in a fun direction. If you like a light-hearted and easy to listen to podcast, this is a great podcast that will have you going back through previous episodes just so you can listen more.
  • trucker11143
Now this is a great show!!
I listen to crr and I like it. But this is a great format. One of the best shows and I listen to a lot of shows.. PS. That 19 I mean 2011s bore is no lower than my 226 elite Sao. Just saying I'm Ron burgundy.
  • sticksnstones1965
    Our brothers to the north
The show is young, but these guys are not noobs. Love the show and the interaction that I have with them, even though I still can't get a shipping cost quote from them on shirts. One of em is old and forgetful, the other seemingly busy and the other one is off somewhere firing off warning shots. In all seriousness it's a great show, on the top of my list. They are full of great info and full of s@$&, so give them a listen. You won't regret it Sticks
  • IowaTexan
Great Podcast lots of Info and fun!
Have you ever felt like you should sit down for an hour and slap your self in the face? If so this is the podcast for you. Non-stop laughs and good information. Now, with extra of "Squirrel" moments
  • Galahad187
    Same but different
I listened to the CRR show and enjoyed it, this show is similar but with less of the boring bits and more of the Trevor bits. I want to start a petition to make these guys official US citizens
