I’ve enjoyed this podcast for many years and have learned much from it, but recently it’s harder and harder to ignore the MAGA bias. A complete lack of balanced analysis of what’s happening to our economy currently due to Trump’s actions could really mislead listeners. I did buy crypto because of this podcast and hopefully that will pay off in the end, but this most recent episode on tarriffs was really ridiculous.

I’ve followed Linda for a few years now, and value her objective perspective on a wide range of investment types. She covers not only the stock market, but also real estate, precious metals, private equity, and crypto. I love that she has helped me learn about cycles and how to interpret fluctuations in the markets with a calm, educated viewpoint. Linda is well connected in the financial world, and a stable voice of experience in an otherwise crowded market that pushes so much hype, doom and panic. I’m so grateful I found her!

Until I found Linda’s podcast I was frustrated and disillusioned— they were all greed mongrels selling hype to get you to buy the next obnoxiously priced membership level, and they didn’t share any applicable tips. Linda talks plainly and is brilliant, and she shares SO much for free. Listen to this but also buy her books, join her private group — the value goes through the roof. She is THE best!!!

I’ve been listening to Linda’s podcasts since my undergrad days back in 2015. I was young (20) and needed someone who not only provided quality financial information, but gave an understandable rationale for everything they suggested. I can wholeheartedly say that Linda’s been the same genuine and informative financial mentor with a consistent message for years. I remember listening to her podcasts during the Bitcoin frenzy and appreciating her honest explanation as to why she wasn’t invested in it despite all the hype it was getting. I’ve witnessed her research this area of digital assets for years and got excited when she started mentioning alt coins that have the potential to revolutionize money. If it wasn’t for Linda, I would be unaware of the technological revolution that’s occurring. I’m a passenger on the XRP train and I cannot wait to see where it takes me. I stumbled onto Linda P. Jones podcast a few years ago when seeking some investment education. She is so smart and presents information in a manner that is easily understood and digestible. Her biggest impact on me has been her podcasts and newer book on cryptocurrencies. I honestly did not understand anything about cryptocurrency until I listened to Linda’s numerous podcasts and read her book. Unlike most personal finance and wealth podcasters, TV and radio show hosts I have listened to over the years, Linda's is one of the very few podcasts that comes to the topic in a refreshing and unique way, that of a mentor who takes what she has learned and successfully applied over the years in finance and investing to help others do the same. Specifically, who in the media of any kind besides her talks in real and specific terms about wealth building for the everyday person? Not hypothetical generalities but actual factual data with historical perspective? I can't think of very many people who have her breadth and depth of knowledge that are sharing that with others for FREE. Not only that, but how many talk about the importance of mindset as a key part in building wealth? I appreciate the positivity and encouraging tone she takes with all of the subjects that she covers and it's nice that I don't have to wade through endless technical industry terminology too. If you've ever been uncertain what to do with your investments or how to get started, I think you'll enjoy listening to and learning from Linda (and be sure to include her beginning episodes too - lots of gold nuggets to be found there that are STILL relevant to this day). I've definitely grown in my knowledge and and finally feel confidant with every investment I make. As for the 1-star review, if you look up the etymology for the term you dislike so much you'll find it's origins and earliest usage are quite applicable for today. Please don't allow one word mentioned a few times in the course of over 8 years worth of content be the reason that keeps you from being wealthy and smart 🙂.

This is a great, informative, and easily digestible podcast. I’ve been listening for years and have recommended it to many friends that are just starting to think about investing and retirement planning. That said, lately, the amount of time dedicated to talking about crypto has grown so much as to become offputting. It’s one thing when the episode’s title indicates the topic is on crypto (so you know and can avoid it) but now Linda wedges crypto in every episode possible 🙄

I’m glad other people are getting good advice that’s helping improve their financial standing. I feel like Jones mostly just reads articles from other sources. The few investments I made based on her recommendation are the only big losers in my portfolio. Perhaps I just favor a more traditional approach: Buy index funds. Never touch them again. But there’s not much here for me.

My wife convinced me to start listening to this podcast after she had been following it for a few weeks. Now we are completely reevaluating our plans for saving, investing and retirement.
