🥺🎉😭💯☺️☺️😝I love this showThis podcast is amazing 🤩 It has helped me is much! It made managing me diabetes is much easier. Scott makes it not boring like other podcasts. My A1C went from the mid sevens and now I am in the sixes. Scott’s podcast is just amazing. I have only been a type one for about 2 years. My a1c was around 12.5 at diagnosis and in less than 2 months my a1c was 7.0 and now it is 6.2. This podcast is an amazing learning tool. I am not an adult but it helps me manage. Highly recommended this podcast.🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 I give 5 stars if I could it would be 100,000,000!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Britt129Life changingFinding this podcast has been the best thing to happen once my son was diagnosed with T1D. If I could give it 10 stars, I would!

ChrisRajkumarBreatheI’ve been listening to this podcast for a few months for my 3yo T1D and it has been a lifesaver almost quite literally. I’ve learned so much but above all I haven’t felt like I can’t do this anymore since listening. Take a deep breath and listen. You can do this and this podcast can help you understand your journey too.

Betty I0328Amazing learning tool!I am an RN with a newly diagnosed T1D 7 year old. Nothing I’ve ever learned in school or practice has compared to what I’ve learned from the podcast and FB group. My daughter’s A1C went from 13.9 at diagnosis to 6.4 in less than 3 months thanks to this podcast. It has given me the confidence, knowledge, and support to keep learning and be bold with insulin. Thank you so much!
-
DaisyfroggieGreat learning opportunityLove listening to these podcasts and learning so much to help my daughter with type 1 diabetes. This is truly a game changer! Thank you!!!

EveinAKSo much better than booksWhen we were diagnosed we got a lot of paper and felt really overwhelmed. Juicebox has helped us sift through all the information, develop practical strategies, and build our confidence at being able to navigate diabetes as parents so we can care for and teach our kiddo well and be good advocates on his behalf.

JennGurrLove this podcast! My son was diagnosed with T1D 10 years ago, he's 12 now. Our family found this podcast quite a few years ago and it's been a GAME CHANGER for us ever since! It helped us lower his A1C and gave us better tools to manage his diabetes day to day. We still listen because we're still learning and all of the stories help us feel less alone, more connected, and make us laugh! I'm so thankful for this podcast!

Shannon2288Great for newly diagnosed T1DThis podcast has been so helpful since my daughter was diagnosed with T1D in October 2024. I’ve learned so many practical day to day tips and it has really deceased my stress levels and feelings of overwhelm as we’ve learned how to move forward and keep her healthy!

JPalacios221Lots of information!Great resource for a T1D family.
-
Laugh,Cry,Learn?Wonderful information! When my nephew was diagnosed, it was shocking and terrifying. We knew nothing about T1D! My sister told me about this podcast and it has been so helpful! It gave the information in a way that didn’t sound like I was listening to Charlie Brown’s teacher speak. I feel more comfortable caring for my nephew when needed and it means so much!
-
Apple_bitsHighest recommendationThe Juicebox Podcast has been an invaluable resource for learning about insulin and type 1 diabetes. I’ve listened for years, and I continue to listen to every episode. I highly recommend it!

4billsBest TD1 Education AvailableSo thankful we were told about this podcast at the hospital following diagnosis. We dove into the content and achieved a 5.4 A1c on our first test with no food restrictions.
-
HollyinTXSo much good info!As a mom of 2 kids with type 1, this has been a great addition to my podcast lists! Love the info and real life stories shared with his guests. I only wish he didn’t say so many Jesus Christs and GDs, but nonetheless, a great podcast!

Carli12224A Community of InformationI have found it to be so valuable to feel part of this Juicebox community. Managing our kiddos T1D can feel very isolating, and this podcast has helped us learn valuable information and feel a sense of belonging. Thank you!

Mama to 4 girlsPerfect for new T1D ParentsMy daughter Ellie was diagnosed almost 2 years ago in Feb 2023. She was 9 and in 4th grade and I was lost. We had no experience with managing T1D (except one friend in high school). We have 4 girls and this is my 3rd girl and they are all busy with school and sports. Ellie especially is a club soccer player and I needed to know how to deal with practices and coaches. This podcast has everything you need to know. From dealing with school, teachers, coaches, different pumps, nighttime, MDI…the pro tips series is amazing but overall just listening to stories from parents helped so much. My favorite is Mark Andrews mom! Highly recommend this podcast to anyone feeling lost. So easy to listen to while commuting or carpooling - especially for us T1D moms who need sleep and not any time to read books about it. Helps so much for dealing with the physical aspects of managing blood sugar but also listening to other stories helps so much emotionally to feel a sense of community.
-
ETT1DMOMHuge resource for new T1 familiesHighly recommend this podcast and all things Juicebox if you or a loved one has T1D! I have learned so very much. Thanks, Scott!
-
Spursfreak21An essential show for T1D parentsMy 10 year old daughter was diagnosed with T1D a few months ago and I’m so glad I found this podcast! Scott is so insightful and has so many real life tips and experiences that I learn so much with every episode!

Sophsmama_12A blessing!I found Scott’s podcast after our T1 was dx 8 years go. It was such a blessing for me as the primary caretaker to a 4 yr old learn How to cope with the dx while finding the joy in the craziness amongst others who get it. This community is awesome. Thank you Scott for creating such a warm, informative, funny (esp the dark humor), safe space.

Mel child97Gotta love it’s!As a longterm T1D. I wasn’t sure what to expect, after 4 years listening to JBP, I can’t miss an episode! I love how Scott makes the guest feel at ease as he speaks to them about their child’s journey, or their own! The recurrent experts, Jenny and Erica give excellent ideas on diabetes and mental health that can transcend diabetes. And absolutely love it when Arden comes on for the great banter between her and her dad! Thank you, Scott!!

Bictoria JaneOH MY GOSHI am a T1D, diagnosed in April 2024, and already, November 2024, I have a 6.0 a1c. Arden and Scott are HILARIOUS! And I love all of the advice. THANK YOU SCOTT

Crista GotthesugarsIf you’re not listening, do you even T1D?If you’re struggling to meet your goals, struggling to care, or not struggling at all and just want to be reminded that you’re not actually alone with this disease, give it a shot. I don’t see how you can stay on the wrong path if you’re actively listening. It’s a gentle reminder every day that it can be done, that you should not be so hard on yourself, that other people struggle and succeed as well, and little pieces of knowledge just get dropped in your brain like free education. Please please please give it a shot. Scott and his guests make me laugh daily, get choked up, get angry at the system, and then sort back through it all.

RoGo18An absolute MUST for patients and caregiversI was diagnosed with Type 1 at age 31 and have been living with the disease for 17 years. I am “beginning again” with my management and have found this podcast to be priceless. I started with the Diabetes Pro Tips series and am working my way through the other episodes. I have already seen a significant drop in my BG levels since implementing the tools discussed my Scott and Jenny. The podcast has also led me to shift my mindset about many aspects of living with Type 1. A huge THANK YOU to Scott, Jenny and everyone else involved with creating this show.

LaoslieBest A1c ever thx to the podcastI had never listened to a podcast before & just followed the Facebook group for a while, but once I started listening, I gained insight & skills to apply to managing my blood glucose much better than ever, & without the stress of micromanaging. I am down to a 6.0 & honestly believe I can do even better than that! I have learned way more here than anywhere else & it is way easier to listen to an episode or read a short transcript compared to the lengthy books I tried to learn from, in combination with my good endos. The podcast helps me know things can and will get better & helps me not feel so alone in my diagnosis & care.
-
kimberlymac29Episode 1072I really enjoyed listening to your guests this week. I love hearing how things work in other countries, as far as their medical and their way of educating their diabetics. I really like that she was open and honest with you about her other issues and has turned them into positives. As you would say, she was very lovely. I hope everyone else enjoyed the podcast.
-
Amber8919Amazing!Our Endo saw my son’s 5.6 A1C and said “so I hear you listen to Juicebox..” True story!
-
T1 galOff the railsThis podcast used to have really great information and guests. Now it’s just Scott reading ChatGPT hallucinations and talking about how nothing tastes better than skinny feels. That Wegovy kickback’s gotta be pretty good.
-
Susies iTunesGreat tips for diabetes managementHours and hours and hours of great training and tips that your doctor does not have time to give you. The series such as Pro Rips are amazing. And the hundreds, thousands plus of episodes help me understand what other diabetics are going through, and help me to understand my diabetes better. I have been type one diabetic for 58 years and have learned so much from this podcast.
-
kat%#*$Entertaining while informativeAwesome interview with Dr. Stephanie Tarlow!
-
TurtleTwigAppreciativeI have learned so much from this podcast that I otherwise would not have learned. Diabetes is hard and figuring out how to have good control of your health is not easy with it. I learned more practical tips from this podcast than anywhere else, and I am very appreciative. Thank you!

MJSushiInformative, Impactful and EntertainingThe Juicebox Podcast has the most comprehensive, accessible, up to date T1D content available, and it is free! There’s no catch… no sales pitch to get additional help or to join an exclusive group. Scott Benner has helped thousands of people learn how insulin works and how to use it skillfully. And he is, dare I say, delightful. :) My 16 year son was diagnosed in 2020 and consistently has an A1c in the 5s, even through puberty. He has a time in range of over 70% and our range is 70-140. He has no diet restrictions. He chooses what he wants to eat and we figure out how to dose for it. I have the knowledge and confidence to help him achieve these results because of what I have learned from this podcast. In addition to that, this podcast is truly entertaining and I look forward to each new episode. I am not only a diabetes ninja because of it but a happier, better human being from what I learn daily from Scott, Jenny, Erika and all the wonderful guests.
-
LilybravDangerous. Needs a fact checker, serious medical disclaimersAnyone saying "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels" should not give health advice. Really disturbing lack of integrity. This dude has been in an echo chamber for too long. Managing your child's diabetes doesn't make you a doctor. Touch grass.

……again?……HarshYou do not get it. Hats off for trying though.
-
geckosaurusCrucialI cannot begin to thank Scott, Jenny, and everyone else who helps make this podcast possible. My 11yo was diagnosed almost 6 weeks ago. Learning about dynamic diabetes management has been crucial to where we have gotten so far. I felt like we were floundering a bit even with the education we got from the hospital (which was very rigid and static). Listening to the Defining Diabetes series, Bold Beginnings series, and Pro Tip series was a game (and life) changer. Applying what I’ve learned so far from the podcast has already produced significantly noticeable results and makes so much sense. It has been empowering for my son as well as myself. Many thanks to this podcast!

Aubrey JMental HealthI was really enjoying this podcast until Scott decided to start acting life a mental health professional. In the most recent episode be tried to dissuade this poor guest that she first was not bipolar because he “didn’t get the vibe” and then was bipolar because “she wrote a very detailed email” about how she didn’t get to explain her mental health complaints clearly. He tried to talk her into hyperthyroidism and an MTHFR as reasons for her mental health complaints. He lacks so much information and is just googling live in the podcast which is really strange. Acting like a medical professional when you aren’t is bad enough, but to further confuse someone while they are still working through a diagnosis is shameful. Saying the guest doesn’t seem mentally ill because she is conscientious is ridiculous. I hope Scott will educate himself before possibly confusing and insulting a whole community.
-
MístœryAmazing podcast, way more than diabetesThis podcast is great for those with diabetes but everyone can learn from this podcast. Scott has a way about interviewing that is informative and fun. He is sarcastic and funny. I love how he understands that there is more than one way to do things and what works for one doesn’t work for everyone. He includes all perspectives and covers all topics.

Dia gurlNot alone 🧑🧑🧒🧒When I was diagnosed I felt like I was the only one who knew and had the true meaning of diabetes. When my Mom introduced me to the podcast I realized that there millions of people who understand and feel the same way as I feel. Now I love to listen and I feel comfortable listening. My pets like it too!!
-
flute1481GratefulI can’t say enough of Scott and his podcast. I am so grateful for this resource that he puts out here for FREE! Not only has it helped in tangible ways to improve my son’s life with diabetes, but it also has provided me with a sense of community through my struggles in dealing with the huge emotional toll diabetes takes on a caregiver. The intro song, Scott’s voice, and the guests that he interviews have comforted me during my car rides and long walks. It’s become part of my life that I look forward to weekly. My son was diagnosed at 12. He’s graduating high school this week and headed to college. Back when he was diagnosed, I never thought I’d see the day where he was independent with his care. Thanks to the podcast, he’s armed with knowledge that he wouldn’t get otherwise. Thank you Scott!

Disgustedtype1Take a shot. Lose weight. As a person with type 1 that has struggled with body image issues, listening to Scott talk about how great he looks and feels because of Wegovy is getting REALLY ANNOYING!!!!! If only we all could just take a shot to lose weight. Check your privilege.
-
AR23arInstant ickI’ve only listened to the sex worker episode and this guy sounds like a 16 yr old talking to a girl for the first time it’s so embarrassing. Literally nothing about t1d.
-
Mom to T1DInvaluable Resource!!I started listening to this podcast a few months after my daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. The Pro Tip Series really helped us figure out lots of things like “bumping and nudging” to bring down higher BG numbers than we wanted, bolusing for fat and protein, starting on Omnipod 5, and so on … Other episodes featuring discussions with guests have been not only informative but also kind of cathartic - so many shared experiences. I can’t recommend this podcast enough!
-
ErinjanaIncredibly Helpful, No Matter Your Connection to T1DThe wonderful thing about this podcast is that it has benefit for so many different people touched by diabetes. Whether you are diabetic yourself, caregiver or even just a compassionate individual who wants to understand the diabetic experience better, there’s something here for you!
-
